Alpha Sentinel’s systems are powered by Polygon.io (primary) and other third-party market data providers (Twelve Data, Alpha Vantage). Alpha Sentinel does not control the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of this data.

Market data may be delayed, incorrect, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. This is especially true during periods of high volatility, market openings/closings, and unusual trading conditions. You should always verify data independently before making any investment decision.

Scanner Results May Be Incorrect

The Scanner surfaces stocks based on technical conditions present at the time of the scan. Scanner results may be wrong. A stock passing all five conditions is not a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell any security. Technical analysis has inherent limitations and past technical patterns do not predict future price movements.

The Five-Condition Analysis evaluates price trend, momentum, relative strength vs. market, volume quality, and timeframe alignment. These are backward-looking indicators based on historical price and volume data. They do not account for fundamental factors, news events, earnings, regulatory changes, or any other forward-looking information.

Force Majeure & Black Swan Events

Alpha Sentinel cannot anticipate, detect, or protect against sudden market-moving events including: earnings surprises, FDA decisions, geopolitical events, regulatory actions, exchange halts, flash crashes, company fraud, cyberattacks on exchanges, or any extraordinary circumstance causing rapid price movement outside the scope of technical analysis.

Technical analysis tools, including Alpha Sentinel, are designed for normal market conditions. Extreme or unprecedented events may render all technical indicators meaningless.

Artificial Intelligence Limitations

Sentinel AI generates plain-English narratives by interpreting technical data using artificial intelligence tools provided by Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (ChatGPT). These narratives are automated outputs and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or contextually inappropriate.

AI-generated content may contain factual errors or “hallucinations.” AI narratives are informational context only — not personalized advice. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before relying on it. We do not transmit your personal information to AI providers.

System & Technical Failures

Like all software systems, Alpha Sentinel may experience outages, bugs, delays, data feed interruptions, server failures, or other technical issues. Alpha Sentinel does not guarantee uninterrupted service. You should always check your positions independently through your brokerage account.
