Section 01

Definitions

When we use the term "personal data" or "personal information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked — directly or indirectly — to a particular individual or household. This includes "personal information" as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and "personal data" as defined under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Section 02

Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how Alpha Sentinel ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website at www.alphasentinel.ai (the "Site") and any related services, including any future mobile applications (collectively, the "Services").

Alpha Sentinel is a financial publisher — not a registered investment adviser. All content we provide is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on our platform constitutes investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.

When we collect your personal data through our Services, we act as the "controller" (as defined under the GDPR) and the "business" (as defined under the CCPA/CPRA) with respect to that data.

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Section 03

Information We Collect

3.1 — Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account, subscribe, or contact us, we may collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Phone number
  • Watchlist tickers (the stock symbols you choose to monitor)
  • Communications you send to us (e.g., support requests, vulnerability reports)

3.2 — Information We Never Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to any of the following:

Brokerage credentials
Account numbers
Credit card information
Portfolio balances or holdings

Your payment information is collected and processed exclusively by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We never see, transmit, or store your card number or full payment details. Stripe's use of your data is governed by their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

3.3 — Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we may automatically collect:

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps
  • Device identifiers and general geolocation derived from IP address
  • Alert history: a record of the alerts we sent you and when
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)

3.4 — Information from Third-Party Sources

We may receive limited information about you from third-party analytics platforms or publicly available sources. We do not purchase personal information from data brokers. If you interact with us through social media platforms, we may receive basic profile information you have made publicly available on those platforms.

Section 04

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving the Services, including delivering your watchlist alerts
  • Processing your subscription and managing your account
  • Communicating with you about service updates, security notices, and support inquiries
  • Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity
  • Performing internal analytics to improve product quality and user experience
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations
  • Enforcing our Terms of Service

We do not use your information to provide personalized investment advice. We do not sell your personal information. We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Section 05

How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

5.1 — Service Providers

We engage a small number of trusted third-party providers to perform services on our behalf. Each receives only the minimum data necessary. See Section 6 for a complete list.

5.2 — Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a lawful government request.

5.3 — Business Transfers

If Alpha Sentinel is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership via email and/or prominent notice on our Site.

5.4 — Aggregated or De-Identified Data

We may create and share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Such data is not personal information and may be used for any lawful purpose.

5.5 — No Sale or Sharing for Advertising

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not permit third-party advertising networks to collect data from our Services.

Section 06

Third-Party Service Providers

We integrate with a small number of external services. Each is best-in-class for its purpose.

Only the content necessary for the specific feature in use (e.g., market data, ticker symbols) is processed. Data submitted to these providers may be processed under their respective privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:
